blues and a bit of billards...

So I had a completly fabulous weekend!! For several weeks we had planned that Jeremy and I along with a few other friends were going to go salsa dancing for my birthday, about a week ago those plans fell through as the hotel that offered lessons/dancing in boulder doesn't hold them in the winter months. After contmeplating what we should do in celebration of my birthday on Friday, it was decided that a bunch of friends would go out for dinner and entertainment at Oskar Blues. 12 of us in total went and had a great time! The food was de-lish, [although my taco salad was heapingly too big] and everyone seemed to throughly enjoy themselves and each other. We ended up not staying to watch the band because of the pricey cover charge but the fun didn't stop there.... [most] everyone decided on going to The bit of billards to play some pool afterward and it was a blast! A good buddy of Jeremy and I's ended up being the bouncer there and it was fun to catch up with him (and enjoy the yummy strawberry coctail that he bought me!!) We girls had a great time laughing and being just "us".... we so need to do these things for Un-birthdays as well!!

On saturday we held Isaiah's birthday party at the bowling alley and all they boys had a great time! The bowling alley is defiantly on the list of "keepers" to do a party there again some day. Though a little chaotic at times...what kind of seven year old bday party isn't?? It was fun for Isaiah and fun for his guest. Afterward we had a nice family movie night in. A great way to end a busy day.

Sunday is sunday, business as usual. Went to church and then out to lunch at "playgrounds cafe" with the Wehmans then off to my parents for a de-lish steak dinner... Yum.
