catching up

Now that I officially have slacked in the blogg department for about a month now....its time for me to play catch up.

I've enjoyed myself as of recently. Between going out with friends, movies and getting creamed at bowling (...I will be avenged..hahaha) I feel like I'm starting to have a little bit of a life outside of being mommy. It's a nice feeling. Jeremy watches the kids so I can go out, and its nice because Julian will take a bottle easily and switch back to nursing with no problems.

This past week was fun because we got to go shopping! We got a great tax refund this year and we were able to pay off the remaining of our debt. With the left over money we decided to buy new bedroom furniture. I'm so loving it!! We finally upgraded to a king size bed and I feel like I'm in another world when I'm sleeping next to Jeremy...or the kids. Its fantastic. The furniture is beautiful and I'm finally able to decorate our room after living in our home for a year! As a bonus, we moved our old bed downstairs to the guest room, which has helped me to complete two projects at once! Our old dressers, which were part of my grandma's first bedroom set and over 50 years old, we decided to re-furbish and hand down to Isaiah. We sanded and painted and replaced all of the handles. Much more modern, and a fun project to boot.

Julian is reaching more milestones!! On Feb 17th, he learned to roll from his stomach to back. Now that he can easily roll in both directions, its fun watching him move from one end of the room to the other. I caught him rolling over the second time he did it. Now I can't keep him in one place!
